The Bourne Legacy opened to decent numbers in the Us this weekend, even if it couldn’t quite top Supremacy and Ultimatum. The $40.3m that Legacy pocketed will be seen as a solid opening (it was enough to knock The Dark Knight Rises off the top spot), although it’ll be interesting to see how it holds up over the next couple of weeks. Matt Damon-starring sequels The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum took $52m and $69m respectively, so Renner shouldn’t be too disappointed...
