'American Idol': Alanis Morissette in talks to be a judge?

"American Idol" is currently on a hunt for one or two more people to round out the Season 12 judges panel. Mariah Carey has been officially announced as a judge and current panelist Randy Jackson has not yet been officially announced as returning. 

Names that have been rumored to be in talks with the show include country star Brad Paisley, R&B star Sean "Diddy" Combs and pop sensation Nick Jonas. But now you can add Alanis Morissette to the list of rumored judges.

"I'm in talks with somebody right now, I can't name any names, but I'm pretty excited about doing it more formally, yep ... I still have to investigate further and that's all I can say," Morissette tells Mix 941, a local CBS station (audio below).
